Novalco has offices in both Tulsa and Oklahoma City servicing the entire state of Oklahoma. All of our technicians are AAADM Certified and we service all brands of automatic pedestrian doors including Horton, Stanley, Dorma, Besam, and Record among others. In addition to automatics, we also install hollow metal doors and frames, door hardware (both manual and electrified) and wood doors both solid core and fire-rated.

Our Story

1966

Novalco is established in Oklahoma as a refrigeration business. Novalco serviced cold cases and walk-in coolers in grocery stores in the Oklahoma City metro area.

1968

Novalco starts installing Dor-O-Matic closers on doors in Central Oklahoma.

1972

Started rebuilding Rixon floor closers. Figured out how to take them apart and replace the guts.

1980

Picked up Horton Automatics line of automatic door products and began installing automatic swing and slide doors in the Oklahoma City area.

1981

Novalco installs first Horton revolving door in Oklahoma.

1996

Novalco moves to set up a shop in Tulsa, OK to be able to cover more of the state.

2006

Novalco changes ownership and moves into new Tulsa location, where we still reside today.

2008

Novalco exhibits at our first Hospital Show in OKC.

2012

Novalco installs their 100th Horton revolver in Oklahoma.

2016

We Celebrate 50 years of Opening Doors in Oklahoma.

2019

Novalco embraces technology and moves from carbon copy service tickets to a paperless, cloud-based service system. Helping us processes information quicker to make us more efficient.

2020 - 2021

Covid hits. Established as an Essential business, Novalco continues to work through it, serving businesses statewide. We Celebrate on the Riverwalk in OKC.

2023

Novalco starts training our techs “in-house” with a full-time trainer on staff to make our techs more efficient in solving our customers problems.

2024

After 50+ years of working from our 31st street shop, we expanded the OKC shop to a larger facility on 4th street.

2025

Celebrating 60 years of Opening Doors in Oklahoma.

Seth

I’m from Edmond, OK and live with my girlfriend and her son as well as our two dogs Gus and Ari and our cat Pickles. I enjoy fishing, rock climbing, hiking and camping. I’ve been in the door business for 6 years, all at Novalco. My favorite thing about working here is being able to travel all around the state and work at all kinds of places. I feel like what sets us apart from other companies is the relationships we have built with our customers and the pride we take in our products and the services we provide for them. 

Brandon

I am from Drumright, OK my wife Stephanie and I have 1 daughter Oakley. In my spare time I like hunting, fishing and hot rods. I have been working on doors for 3 years, 2.5 years here at Novalco. The people who work here are like family and easy going. We always do all we can to get the doors working the day we get the call. Novalco is a mom and pops door company- not a huge corporation. 

Eddie

I am from Clovis, California, married to Dawnetta with three kiddos and two grandbabies. My hobbies consist of what my kids are involved in. Sports, Rodeo and keeping the wife happy. I have been in the door business for 27 years, and been with Novalco for 2 years.

Everything about Novalco is my favorite, Ownership, the commitment to being the best and taking care of our customers. What makes us different than any other door company, is the service we provide to our customers. The response time, the relationships, the details explained to our customers about the issues they are having, and the fact that we CARE!!!!!!!

Sam

I am from Pawnee, Ok I have a Fiancé (Lindsey) and daughter Oakley. I am an Army Veteran and did three tours of Duty overseas. I did combat missions in Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq, Syria and Jordan. I love anything outdoors. I’ve been in the door business for 1 year and I’ve worked for Novalco during that time. My favorite thing about Novalco is teamwork and cohesion. We are more driven to make the customer happy, and to be more readily available when our customers call.

Rodney

I am from Tulsa, OK but share my time between Tulsa and Oklahoma City. I get to spend plenty of time with my parents, my brother and his wife, my sister, and my nieces and nephew. I like to play various PC games and spend a portion of my year volunteering in short term mission trips around the world.  My group is currently sponsoring a new school and infrastructure upgrades to a village in Nigeria. I will have been in the automatic pedestrian door business for 18 years on August 17, 2025.  All those years have been spent with Novalco in various job positions.

My favorite thing about working for Novalco is getting to further a family legacy of providing access to buildings to those with different abilities.  This history goes back to my grandfather who worked on a local Tulsa initiative that ended up joining with other cities’ initiatives and eventually became the catalyst for the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Novalco Difference: Word of mouth from customers and other employees concerning how Novalco is different than other door companies always center around the way we treat people.  Whether the person is a customer or an employee, we do our best to show respect and support for their needs.

Alicia

I was raised in the Dallas area, I am married with 2 adult kids, 5 outside cats, 1 dog, 10 cows & a bull named Luther. I enjoy the outdoors. Been in the door business and worked for Novalco 5 years.

I enjoy the office work and helping the customers. Also enjoy the Novalco Team, they’re a great group of people to work with. Novalco tries to do everything they can to make the customer satisfied within reason. They also try to make themselves available if customers have questions. Not all door companies are concerned about doing the same.

Braeden

I am from Dibble, OK and have one sister. My hobbies include farming, fixing things that I break just to break them again and improve the family farm one day at a time. Oct 1st will be 5 years in the business and with Novalco, they take care of their people and their customers. Our turn-around time is unmatched and it’s not even close.

Jacob

I am from San Jacinto, California. I have a wife and two kids, a son and a daughter. My hobbies include riding and working on motorcycles and playing video games. I have been in the door industry for 5 years and have been with Novalco for 4 years. My favorite thing about working at Novalco is that it feels like more of a family than just a job and how well the employees are treated. What really sets Novalco apart from other door companies is how much we care about our customers; our main goal is to make sure that our customers are happy and well taken care of.

Kyle

I’m 19 years old and I’m from Plainville, Kansas. I have two brothers, one older one younger and a dog named Sam. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym. I like to play basketball and lift weights. I have been in the door industry with Novalco for a year now. My favorite thing about Novalco are the relationships. Everyone always seems to be on the same page and the punctuality is spot on in our day-to-day tasks, making our jobs easier and more enjoyable. What makes us stand out to our other competitors is our customer relationships. We go above and beyond to make our customers happy and to make sure they are being treated fairly.

Ronnie

I am from Broken Arrow, OK. With 9 years of experience in the door industry and 6 years proudly serving at Novalco, I bring both expertise and dedication to every project. I am a passionate angler in my free time, and values patience and precision—qualities that also define my approach to customer service. At Novalco, I am part of a team that prioritizes responsiveness, aiming to return every customer call within 24 to 48 hours. Novalco doesn’t just complete jobs—it builds lasting relationships by consistently striving to exceed customer expectations.

Bryan

I am from Bixby, OK and have lived most of my life in Oklahoma. I have also lived in Branson, MO and Vail, Co. Been married to Kristy for 30 years. I have 3 daughters (Mackenzie, Taylor, Macy) son-in-law (Brandon) and one granddaughter (Parker), with a grandson coming soon! My hobbies include spending time with my family, the lake, the mountains, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. 2026 marks 20 years I have been in the door business; all have been spent at Novalco. We have worked to establish a team atmosphere and keep it family oriented. Since Covid, we have worked hard to create procedures to make us efficient and provide the quickest turn-around times in the state. This enables us to solve our customers’ problems quickly and eliminate the time their doors are down.

EMILY

I am from Colorado Springs, CO. I went to Oklahoma State, met my husband, and we have been in the Oklahoma City area for the last 8 years. We have 2 daughters and 2 dogs. Besides being a busy mom I enjoy going to the lake and being outdoors as much as possible. My husband has been in the door industry since I met him and now I am an assistant here at Novalco. I love working side by side with Miss Alicia. It’s such a great group of people who take a lot of pride in their work.

Chris

I’m originally from California but grew up in Deer Creek, Oklahoma, and proud to call this great state home. I’m a devoted husband to my wife Emily and a proud dad to our two wonderful daughters, Weston and Lexi. When I’m not working on doors, you can usually find me out hunting or spending time with my friends and family—those are the moments that matter most. I’ve been in the automatic door industry since 2009, bringing over 15 years of experience to the field and have been at Novalco since 2012. The people are my favorite thing about the company, we’re a close-knit team that supports each other and takes pride in every job we do. It’s more than just a company—it’s a community.

Our technician-led approach makes us a different type of door company. We focus on doing things the right way, not the easy way. Our team has real field experience, which means we understand the work from the ground up and care about getting it right the first time.

Jesse

I am from Fresno California, married with two daughters and have two dogs. Some of my favorite things to do are watch football and fix things or do projects. I have been in the door industry for approximately 3 1/2 years with about 7 years of low voltage electricity and access control training. The thing that I love the most about working with Novalco is the family atmosphere. Novalco is different from any other door company because they care about their customers and employees. They also always look for ways to grow the business and make sure that their technicians are set up for success.

Justin

My name is Justin, and I’ve been in the automatic door industry for over 13 years, all of that time proudly spent with Novalco. Before that, I worked as an automotive mechanic—what can I say, fixing things just comes naturally to me. Whether it’s engines or entryways, I’ve always had a passion for understanding how things work and making sure they work right.

Outside of work, I’m a family man with three amazing kids. My oldest son was born in 2014, my middle son in 2016, and my daughter joined us in 2024. They keep life busy and full of energy.

When I’m not working or spending time with the family, I love being outdoors. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, or camping with friends and loved ones, if the weather’s good, I’m outside. You’ll often find me manning the smoker or tackling a new project around the house—anything to keep me moving and out in the fresh air.

Michael

I was born in Wisconsin but grew up in Phoenix Arizona. I am married to Sharon have 2 girls and 1 boy. As far as the door business, I have 30 years of experience (started in 1996). My hobbies include fishing and special effects (I have done special effects for 17 movies, 32 music videos and 4 Television shows!) I enjoy the family-first atmosphere of Novalco and the opportunity to grow within the company.
